Ms. Lillehaugen was selected due to her exceptional dedication of volunteerism and positively influencing her pers by her leadership and outstanding performance as a North Dakota delegate at the 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia.  She continues her outstanding academic achievements and work ethic. Amilia is attending Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, North Dakota to achieve her career goal of becoming a Social Worker.

Kelsey’s Courage Scholarship was initiated by Kevin J. and Michaela Misialek of Adams, North Dakota in memory of their daughter, Kelsey Mae Misialek, who passed away from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in June of 2012.  Kelsey was an energetic and determined 15-year-old who had a strong desire to become an orthopedic surgeon.  Due to Kelsey’s interest in medicine and becoming an organ donor, the Misialek family is awarding an annual scholarship of $500 to a North Dakota high school senior pursuing a degree in a medical field.
